Junctions of highways are forgotten or unattractive spaces. These large amounts of highway infrastructures can be used as buffer zones, becoming traffic junctures that are conducive to the urban environment, as well as important zones for urban ecological development.

Inappropriate sewage treatment of industrial areas in the base will severely impact the water quality of neighboring wetlands. Therefore, we want to replace traditional sewage treatment factories with plants and new pumps, to achieve filtering effects with systematic architecture levels. Using solar energy for basic power generation and new pumps to draw sewage, these buildings have green belts consist of plants from top to bottom for water filtration, so as to effectively achieve functions of water purifying system.

Landmark high-rise buildings going through the network of highway junctions will be formed, while the streamline of these buildings will guide rainwater into the water storage area for routine filtration work. With bottom layer as a footpath to cross the highway, and the top layer providing an ecological area for birds to inhabit, these buildings will form a sky ecological network and practice the concept of symbiosis between human and nature.

北回歸線經過地球上16個國家和地區,多屬沙漠和草原地帶,如北非的撒哈拉沙漠,阿拉伯半島的阿拉伯沙漠,印度巴基斯坦的塔爾沙漠,北美的墨西哥沙漠等等,出現所謂“回歸沙漠帶”,唯有經過雲南、廣西、廣東、臺灣四個地區,卻是另一番景象。這一帶林木繁茂、鬱鬱蔥蔥、雨量充沛、物種豐富,人們稱之為“神奇的回歸帶”。

在開發完整的國家高速公路的系統是必需的,而公路卻造成了城市區域的分隔線,阻隔了人們步行的榷力,以及切斷生態發展。公路交界處是被遣忘或沒有吸引力 的空問,這些大量的公路基礎設施,可作為緩衝區的土地條件使用,不僅成為交通節點和城市環境的可能性之外,更能成為城市生態的重要發展區域。

基地的工業區不當污水處理,嚴重影響到基地鄰近的溼地水質。因此我們希望以植物和新型幫浦來替代傳統的汙水處理廠,並透過系統化的建築層級來達到過濾效果。建築以太陽能作為基礎發電,利用新型幫浦來抽取汙水,進而由上往下的 植物綠帶層過濾水源,來達到有效的淨水系統功能。

透過高速公路交匯處的網絡,成為一個視覺標誌性的高層建築,建築的流線型能將雨水引導到儲水區,有助於日常的濾水作業。而建築下層提供人們穿越高速公路的步行區,建築上層提供烏類棲息的生態區,成就天空生態網路,實踐自然與 人類的共生概念。
